My second stay at Peerless ~ and will return again and again
Peerless hotel with Hannah as host and co-owner is the perfect fit. She was always responsive to my concerns and requests; exudes a welcoming, quiet charm that matches Peerless’ mystique. Both of my 5-night stays in the same room felt like a haven away from home.
Peerless is located away from the chaos of downtown Ashland~ on a street that offers the best hidden gems of the Railroad district. This remains to be the hotel of choice for someone who values the feeling of being in a non-intrusive place that offers the thoughtful comforts of “home” with seemingly personalized service from Hannah and the Peerless team.
I will be back soon! Thank you, Hannah and the Peerless team, for making Peerless Hotel the gem that it is.

Looking for a delightful historic stay in Ashland... Peerless is the place for YOU!
Positive: Excellent location in Ashland. Loved the interior design, the keeping with the historic landmark. Easy to access and great communication with staff.
Negative: Air vent in Room #6 needs to be redirected away from the head of the bed.

Overall we liked it, and would come back. BYO coffee.
Positive: The room was comfy and sort of funky with a saloon vibe and some eclectic trinkets and antique dressers. The hotel was very cool with lots of history to read about and pictures from previous decades. It was pretty quiet, but we did hear other guests moving around/talking etc which can be tough because I’m a light sleeper.
Negative: There was a couple things that felt kinda cheap or cost cutting. Like there was no extra blanket, just a sheet and a top blanket, so I was kinda cold at night. The coffee in the room was awful, which is fair enough but when we went down to lounge it was the same stuff and there was no milk, just powdered creamer. Im a coffee lover, so for me that was a bummer.
