Enjoyed the ambiance! Positive: A wonderful place to stay! Love the Victorian decor, friendly and accommodating staff. Roomy and comfortable rooms. Negative: We were there for the plays, so it was a bit too far to walk. But the location is great for quiet and having time to oneself or couples.

Wonderful Yet Again!

This was our second stay this year at the Peerless, and it was a wonderful replay of it's charms. The sunroom at the back is gracious, with every amenity you might need when it comes to coffee, tea, ice, or simply a quiet, comfy place it sit and read, or share a meal with your friends. The rooms are amazingly creative with artistic walls, very comfortable beds, and perfectly appointed bathrooms. They are blessed with no t.v. screens, though there is a rumor of a house ghost! We will be staying one more time this year, and plan on several stays next year.

Better than I expected. I would happily stay there again and recommend it to friends and family. Positive: Beautiful rooms, very comfortable. The parlor was great for a card game. A great restaurant next door and a coffee shop down the street.

Lovely place in a great location. A bit spendy if you ask me. DO NOT like the $45 cleaning fee. Positive: Loved the old, beautiful building and lovely spacious room. Location was fabulous! Negative: I'm not sure I love the idea of a hotel with no staff. There's a lovely old lobby and it would have been nice to have been greeted with a smile. For the price we paid, we should have had GOOD coffee with real cream or 1/2 and 1/2.

Almost perfect! Celebrated our wedding anniversary and had an amazing dinner at the Peerless Restaurant next door. Positive: The location and the historic character of the building itself. Negative: We chose a first floor room, so our bad, but looked out on an alley with trash cans and utility boxes.
