The Peerless Hotel | Signature ADA Room #1 | Artist's Abode

I highly recommend staying here! It’s so close to downtown Ashland - less than a 10 minute walk. The owners are so nice. The place is so beautiful, charming, historic, unique, clean, and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back and stay in another room because they’re all different!

Lovely hotel badly neefing genteel staffing. Positive: Lovely antique-decorated. Unique. Well-furnished. But that is where it stops. I would love it as a bed and breakfast, but even the dole appliance, a coffeemaker did not work. Negative: That it was totally unstaffed.

An absolutely amazing stay!

Both Mark and I would first like to thank the owners of The Peerless Hotel for saving our trip! Both of us are in customer service and understand attention to detail. The Peerless Hotel is both architecturally and aesthetically pleasing. It is obvious that the owners and staff of this hotel take pride in providing guests a wonderful stay. Everything from a great night's sleep to the atmosphere, was top notch! We will be back next week and will make sure to reserve a room at The Peerless Hotel every trip we take to Ashland in the future. A true heartfelt five-star!

Beatiful with only small issues

The Peerless is stunning- each room and the common areas are furnished so thoughtfully. Beds are comfy. I just wish that it wasn't a ghost hotel- for the price I would like to have someone at the front desk. Daily room service isn't necessary, but after a couple of days we did have a fly in our room, likely because of the trash can that we couldn't empty. Also, the hot water handle in the bathroom came off (we were able to put it back on). Sometimes other guests don't respect quiet hours, and with no one at the front desk, there isn't really a way to deal with it. We love being just a little ways out of the busy Ashland main street, but close enough for a pleasant walk. This is our go-to hotel in Ashland.

Positive: Beautiful, close to central area yet in a quiet neighborhood.
