The Peerless Hotel | Anniversary Suite #3 | Twin Soaking Tubs

A novelty hotel that looks very interesting but is not especially comfortable Positive: The walls and ceiling were interesting and the carpets in the hall were new and fit in. The furnishings fit in with the period in whch the hotel might have been properly considered luxurious (e.g. late 19th century, early 20th.) It is next to the Peerless restaurant. Also, if you like baths, the two tubs are very spacious. The shower was nice, but not sufficient for oversized people (e.g. bredth). Negative: It really isn't a very comfortable place for people that don't like tall, narrow stairways or of the erra furnishings that look nice but are not particularly comfortable. And the noise in the early morning from the street was quite unpleasant (garbage trucks and other large vehicles). Also, the coffee in the rear lobby was in short supply, with nobody present to replenish it. Fortunately, we brought our own. Finally, it is an old hotel with lots of intricate furnishings, a few of which had accumulated a very noticeable amount of dust. Most of the furniture was dusted, but the two pieces in our suite stood out.

My partner and I enjoyed the spaciousness and detail of the suite, in addition to the quiet and convenient location of the hotel. Would definitely return!

This was a mother daughter trip and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Positive: My daughter and I agreed the Peerless had the best hotel coffee we have ever had. Negative: Nothing, everything was perfect!

Overpriced for the product Positive: No breakfast. Negative: No breakfast. No tissues, lotion, maid service.

Beautiful hotel in a great location! Positive: This is a beautiful hotel. Our room was wonderful; we had the suite with the twin tubs. The hotel is walking distance to downtown Ashland. It is very quiet. We loved being able to sit out in the yard in the evening. Negative: There is no staff on site so if you need extras (Kleenex, toilet paper etc) there is no way to get it. The air conditioner is for the whole building so it’s hard to control the coolness of your room—fans would be nice to have in the rooms. Otherwise everything was awesome!
